CUTBOOTH, the data controller and operator of the CUTBOOTH app (“we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy and handles personal information only as needed to provide the service.

1. Information We Process

• Google sign-in: Firebase user identifier (UID), email address, name, profile image, and sign-in provider
• Kakao sign-in: Firebase user identifier (UID), Kakao user ID, nickname, and profile image within the scope authorized by you
• App nickname: A nickname created by you or generated by the app. It is stored only on your device.
• Support information: Email address, inquiry category, inquiry details, and privacy consent submitted through our support form
• Operational information: Minimal authentication and server-request logs generated for security and troubleshooting

Photos used in individual sessions, completed images, and your saved-cut list are stored only on your device. However, when you use the “Create Together” photo-room feature, selected original photos, your Firebase user identifier (UID), and room participation information are temporarily uploaded to Firebase Cloud Storage and Cloud Firestore and shared with participants in that room. Completed photo strips are not uploaded.

2. How We Use Information

• Authenticate users and maintain sign-in sessions
• Provide CUTBOOTH features
• Respond to support requests and improve the service
• Prevent abuse, maintain security, and troubleshoot errors

3. Device Permissions

• Camera: To capture photos in the app
• Photo/media library: To select photos and save completed images

Permissions are requested when a related feature is used and can be changed in your device settings.

4. Retention and Deletion

• Account data is deleted without undue delay when you delete your account.
